a history enthusiast, amateur artist, education oriented, history student & future teacher

Why do I study history?

I have always loved history ever since I was a kid. History is the study of humanity and who we are; I want to contribute and further the history profession. In high school, my history teachers were positive male role models and influenced me greatly. I hope to one day become a history professor and help students find their passion.

Currently working towards a history degree with a minor in education at the University of Central Florida

Extracurriculars

I am involved in UCF's gardening club. It is a great way to meet people and work with plants.

I am also a member of UCF ROTC. The army gives me an opportunity to continue my education and has provided me with leadership abilities and people skills. It is a good program with kind people.
